A short guide to the Metadata World workflow and the CSV files it produces.
1. Add your AI provider key
Metadata World is a bring-your-own-key tool. Add a Google Gemini, Groq, OpenRouter, Mistral or OpenAI key in Settings, API keys. Keys are encrypted server-side, never returned to the browser, and provider usage is billed to your own provider account.
2. Upload assets
Supported inputs are JPG, JPEG, PNG, WebP, SVG, and MP4 or WebM video. AI and EPS files are accepted by filename but need a matching JPG or PNG preview with the same basename so the model has something to analyse.
Previews are generated in your browser. Only compressed previews or video keyframes are sent to your chosen provider.
3. Adobe Stock CSV
Columns, in exact order:
- Filename
- Title
- Keywords
- Category
- Releases
Titles are capped at 200 characters and keywords at 49. Category holds the numeric Adobe category ID. Releases is left blank unless you supply real release filenames. Files are split automatically above 5,000 rows or 1 MB.
4. Shutterstock CSV
Columns, in exact order:
- Filename
- Description
- Keywords
- Categories
- Illustration
- Mature Content
- Editorial
Descriptions are capped at 150 characters in strict mode, with 7–50 keywords and up to 2 categories. Some categories are unavailable for video and are filtered out automatically.
5. Validation and export
Validation is deterministic and runs locally after generation, after every edit, and before export. Blocking errors prevent a ready-to-export state; warnings can be exported explicitly as a draft. Filenames are preserved exactly, including extension and capitalisation.
